Holidays are fast approaching, meaning there seems to be less and less time in the day to come up with meal ideas. Whether you need a quick side dish for dinner tonight, a holiday potluck party, or you’re hosting the big Christmas dinner in a couple of weeks, McGonigle’s Market has you covered. Here are three super easy, quick, and party pleasing side dishes you can count on this holiday season.

- 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
- 2 teaspoons fresh dill

Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus (4 servings)
- 6 ounces sliced prosciutto, halved horizontally
- 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
Wrap halved prosciutto slices on each asparagus spear at an angle, covering the entire length of the spear. Repeat with remaining prosciutto and asparagus. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add prosciutto wrapped asparagus and cook until prosciutto is crisp and asparagus is tender, about 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately. Holiday Corn Casserole
- 2 cans whole kernel corn
- 1 can cream style corn
- 1 box Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
Pour all three cans of corn into a mixing bowl. You will need two cans of corn (drain the water first) and one can of creamed corn. Add the corn muffin mix and one cup of sour cream into the bowl. Melt one stick of butter in the microwave and then pour the melted butter into the bowl. Mix all the ingredients together. Pour the corn casserole mixture into a oven safe pan that has been sprayed with nonstick spray. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle some grated cheese on the top and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Recipe by Two Sisters Crafting.
