In 1951 McGonigle's Market was founded in Kansas City by Bill McGonigle. Bill had just returned from active duty in India with the Air Force, was married and started a family.

He was working as a salesman, calling on area grocers, when he came upon a store which at the time was outside the city limits.

Mike continues the great success as Kansas City's premier meat purveyor.

As the owner and operator, Mike founded McGonigle's Nationwide shipping. Allowing people all over the nation to share in the fine cuts of meat that make McGonigle's famous.
